Are you interested in walking alongside youth as they work through a challenging time or are starting to process trauma? As a Rawhide therapist, you'll have the ability to make a direct, lifelong, positive impact on youth who may be struggling with mental illness and trauma. You'll be able to incorporate a wide range of therapeutic modalities into your practice. To best meet the needs of those you're serving, modalities may include equine-assisted therapy, TF-CBT, EMDR, or another modality, along with the support of a Rawhide occupational therapist. As a Rawhide therapist, you’ll help your clients and their families realize a brighter and more hopeful future, while working alongside a collaborative team that promotes a trauma-informed and therapeutic culture. Rawhide believes that everyone should have the space to grow, heal, and thrive.

What kind of experience is needed?

Rawhide therapists must have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field and hold or be eligible for one of the following Wisconsin licenses: LPC, LPC-IT, LCSW, APSW, or LMFT.

As a Rawhide therapist, you’ll receive: 

  • Full salary, including a generous 401k program that matches up to 6%
  • A flexible work schedule, including PTO, a mental wellness day, a floating holiday, volunteer time off, and a 5-week paid sabbatical
  • Growth through ongoing team training opportunities and tuition reimbursement
  • Billing and credentialing support to ensure you’re credentialed with each insurance carrier, that your appointments are submitted to billing on your behalf, help with booking your appointments, and general administrative support
  • Supervision for required QTT hours that goes toward state licensing. We compensate team members with a salary that reflects your level of experience and upon passing your licensing exam, you’ll receive a $5,000 salary increase
  • Therapists who provide services to our residential youth in New London will also receive specialized training to equip them to work with our residential on-campus youth

Rawhide is a premier 501(c)(3) mental health agency offering a full array of outpatient mental health services, prevention-based programs, residential therapy, and counseling for young men and women.
