Wellness

Wellness is more than just physical health, and we want to see our staff lead healthy, productive lives—emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – All Rawhide employees and their families are eligible for free, confidential counseling
  • Sabbatical Program – Eligible employees receive a five-week paid sabbatical in five-year service intervals.
  • Wellness Day – All Rawhide employees receive one paid personal Wellness Day per calendar year.
  • On-site Fitness Room/Gym – Employees can use our on-site gym in the Starr Academy building in New London.

Time Off

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) – Rawhide has a generous PTO plan where staff can accrue hours based on their hours paid. Employees can accrue 16 days of PTO per year with PTO rates increasing each year employees work at Rawhide.
  • Paid Holidays – We offer 11 paid holidays every year.
  • Bereavement Leave – Paid emergency leave for deaths of family members.
  • Paid Benefit for Birth or Adoption – Paid emergency leave for the birth or adoption of a child.
  • Volunteer Time Off (VTO) – 8 hours per year of VTO with other 501(c)3 nonprofits.
