Who We Help
We offer a variety of programs and services that are designed to help at risk youth and families turn their lives around.
Our full continuum of services include outpatient counseling, residential treatment programs, equine-assisted therapy, summer camp, foster care, and more. At Rawhide, you will find committed, caring and professional staff who are focused on achieving positive outcomes with every youth or adult we serve.
Rawhide is a private, faith-based, nonprofit.
If you seek help for your at risk youth and family, the parents resource area is for you. There, you can find information about how we can help you, your son, and your family.
Are you a counselor, social worker, probation officer, or judge? The professionals area is for you. There you can find information on the programs and services that Rawhide offers.
We offer outpatient counseling for families and serve both female and male clients of all ages. In addition, we also offer group counseling for adolescents where participants are challenged to make friends, engage in teamwork and express emotions.
Starr Academy was established in 1980 and offers teen boys an alternative to traditional high school. The core classes we offer are Math, English, Science, and Social Studies along with Art, Wood Working, and Physical Education. The class sizes are small, giving your son individualized attention to help him succeed.
Make your son’s summer camp count! Our Adventure Camp is not your father’s summer camp. Your son will spend 6 days in the wilderness, canoeing 29 miles down the Flambeau River, the whole time learning life skills such as self-control, respect, and personal responsibility.
Once a Rawhide guy, always a Rawhide guy! We provide a number of services to alumni that have gone through our programs.
