Offering hope and healing to students, right where they are.

Over the years, the number of youth in need of mental health counseling has increased dramatically. Despite these increases in need, access and utilization of mental health care is challenging. That’s where Rawhide’s school-based therapy comes in.

Our highly trained, licensed therapists provide school-based counseling to youth struggling with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Anger
  • Trauma
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Loss and grief
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Abuse
  • Child/adolescent issues
  • Suicide prevention
  • Family dynamics
  • Life crisis and transition

“Rawhide has come to the rescue! They have brought the community resource into the school setting so we can meet students and families where they are at. This eliminates so many of the barriers that our students and families face when it comes to accessing high quality mental health services.”

Brooke Watzka, Social Worker – West De Pere School District

Hope and healing just down the hall.

Being a kid can be difficult, but Rawhide’s school-based therapy program is here to make it easier. Our program eliminates many of the barriers parents face when it comes to traditional outpatient counseling, allowing us to meet with your child right where they are, making it easier to start the healing process with ease and compassion.

Rawhide therapists are in over 50 schools throughout Wisconsin.

“This has been an extremely valuable service that we intend to continue each year moving forward. We cannot thank Rawhide Youth Services enough for the care they provide to our school community.”

Kandi Martin, New London School District

“Rawhide has been a real game changer in our school in terms of helping to make mental health services more accessible to our students. The referral process, insurance verification, and intake meetings were seamless and everything A to Z was accomplished quicker than we anticipated. Rawhide was very flexible in working with counselors to develop schedules that minimized the impact on instructional minutes and teacher feedback has been very supportive and appreciative of those efforts.”

Tim Schultz, St. Thomas More High School
