Removing barriers with school-based therapy
Hope and healing just down the hall.
Over the years, the number of youth in need of mental health counseling has increased dramatically. Despite these increases in need, access and utilization of mental health care is challenging. That’s where Rawhide’s school-based therapy comes in.
School-based therapy eliminates many of the barriers parents face with traditional outpatient counseling, making it easier to start the healing process with ease and compassion with in-person or telehealth sessions.
Rawhide therapists are in over 50 schools throughout Wisconsin
“Rawhide has come to the rescue! They have brought the community resource into the school setting to meet students and families where they are. This eliminates so many of the barriers that our students and families face with accessing high quality mental health services.”
Brooke Watzka
West De Pere School District“This has been an extremely valuable service that we intend to continue each year moving forward. We cannot thank Rawhide Youth Services enough for the care they provide to our school community.”
Kandi Martin
New London School District“Rawhide has been a real game changer helping make mental health services more accessible to our students. The referral process, insurance verification, and intake meetings were seamless. Rawhide was very flexible to develop schedules that minimized the impact on instructional minutes and teachers are very supportive and appreciative of those efforts.”
Tim Schultz
St. Thomas More High School
"Mental health is a huge need in our community and it's also one that we sometimes forget that kids really struggle with."
"I am happier. I am joy-filled. Now I love who I am, and I wouldn’t change that for the world."
In addition to school-based services, we offer youth, family, and equine therapy throughout Wisconsin.
