Alan Loux

Alan Loux

Alan Loux came to Rawhide in 2017 and serves as President and CEO. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business/Economics from Wheaton College and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Loux brings extensive and diverse experience to the role, having held leadership roles in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.

Loux began his career working in faith-based non-profit organizations such as Prison Fellowship, a global ministry to those in prison, and InterVarsity, a global college campus ministry headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin where he served as Director of Marketing and Assistant to the President. Most recently Loux served as Vice-President, Global Marketing with JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and leading global equipment manufacturer. Previously he served as Corporate Vice-President – Marketing with Direct Supply, Inc. a leading health care distributor serving the nursing home and assisted living market based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He enjoyed a 19-year career with Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a leading global consumer products company based in Neenah, Wis. coming up through the brand management ranks to become Vice President – Marketing and General Manager.

Alan and his wife, Lori, have three adult children and currently live in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Michael Gasick

Mike joined the Rawhide team in 2018 and serves as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. He holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Finance from Washington University, St. Louis. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mike is committed to the Rawhide vision of helping youth and their families get their lives on a positive path towards success. He is excited about sharing the Rawhide message with a broader group so that more lives can be touched.

Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, traveling, running, and playing golf.

Danny Stone

Danny Stone, LPC

Director of Community and Shared Services

Danny currently serves Rawhide as the Director of Community and Shared Services. It’s his job to ensure that the services offered to Rawhide’s youth and alumni are proper, meaningful, and stay within our mission.

Danny earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wheaton College and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a member of the Wisconsin Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Danny has a passion for seeing at-risk youth excel and enhance their moral development, leading them to become young men that are taught respect, responsibility and self control. Danny and his wife, Wendy, have a set of twins and live near New London. He enjoys bird hunting, fly-fishing and dog training.

Heather Stern

Heather serves as the Chief Development Officer and has been in nonprofit management for over 18 years. Heather  joined the team at Rawhide in 2017 because she is passionate about the mission and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of at risk youth.

Heather has a degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Whitewater – Wisconsin. Heather has received her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) Certification and has also graduated from the School of Executive Leadership Program through the University of Michigan School of Business.

Heather lives just outside of New London with her husband and 3 children. She loves spending time with her family and some of her favorite hobbies include snow skiing, snowmobiling, and cheering on the Packers.

Joel Walker

Joel began his career at Rawhide in the Youth Services field in 2001, and transitioned into a Human Resources role in 2005. As the Chief Human Resource Officer, Joel oversees all HR related activity at Rawhide including recruitment, legal compliance, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.

Joel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Grace College and has held his “Senior Professional in Human Resources” (SPHR) designation since 2009.

Joel was born and raised in Brazil. Having grown up overseas, he developed a love of international traveling (has traveled to over 30 countries) and shares that passion with his wife, Tara. Joel loves spending time as a family and being a dad to his two young kids, Violet and Elias.

Aaron Geitner

Aaron currently serves Rawhide as the Director of Vehicle Donations and Digital Marketing. Aaron comes to Rawhide with over 15 years of experience in the insurance and auto industry.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business Management from St. Norbert College with an emphasis in International Business Relations and Corporate Leadership.

Aaron and his son love fishing, hunting, baseball (playing and coaching), and anything related to the outdoors.

Brendan Ganser

Director of Facilities

In March of 1990, Brendan Ganser began working at Rawhide. Over the years, Brendan has been a Grounds Maintenance Worker, Construction Instructor, Facilities Manager, CATCH Home Housefather, and Temporary House father for the Smith House. He currently serves as the Director of Facilities.

As the Director of Facilities, Brendan oversees the Facilities Department which includes general maintenance and planned maintenance. In addition, he handles project planning and project design.

Prior to coming to Rawhide, Brendan served as the Maintenance Manager for an apartment complex as well as a national hotel chain. He also spent time as a Foreman on a construction crew that built custom homes and commercial buildings.

In the evenings and on weekends, he serves as a Pastor for a church in the Wautoma area.

When blessed with time off, Brendan loves spending time with his family taking day trips. If there’s any other time available on his schedule, he enjoys playing golf with his son and his brother and finding cool stuff with his metal detector.
