Youth Services Train Station

This 5700 square foot building is the newest edition to the facilities on the ranch, opening in January 2011. The Youth Services Train Station helps support the mission of Rawhide in providing top notch diverse services for youth. It was built in part due to an electrical fire in 2009 that housed training and office space for the youth services staff. The new facility consolidates all of the youth counseling, training, and supervisions into one location.

It was modeled after train stations from the 1880s and was funded in large part by the Ivan and Mary Schrodt family. In summer, 2012, a railroad track was added to complete the look of a classic train station. The components of the track were also generously donated.
