Rawhide’s Transitional Group Home

Cornerstone Group Home is based on a family living model, Students in the Transitional Group Home. Living units are staffed with live-in Houseparents and Resident Youth Care Workers. Youth focus on independent living skills while attending New London High School and pursuing employment in the community.

Who is eligible for our Transitional Group Home?

  1. Only available for court-referred young men who have transferred from another Rawhide program or are directly placed by the county or state
  2. Parents cannot directly place their son into this program

 

This program is designed for students who:

  1. Are ready to be transitioned into a community environment
  2. Do not need as much supervision as those in residential care

 

The Transitional Group Home promotes:

  1. Independent living skills
  2. Students’ personal strengths
  3. Identifying behavioral and emotional goals
