Social Services Staff
Rawhide’s social services staff consisting of certified social workers and therapists provide ongoing individual, group, family, and marriage counseling for court-referred young men and their families. Our social services staff is committed to applying principles of relational restoration.
Our social workers serve as the link between placing agencies and Rawhide and lead treatment teams in case load management.

Dorothy has been employed at Rawhide since 2002. She was hired as a Living Unit Social Worker and is currently the CATCH (foster care) Social Worker.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and a Master of Social Work with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
Dorothy has a passion to reach those who are hurting from unwanted life circumstances or experiences through the love and grace that Christ has shown her in her life. The relationships she builds with foster families, students, fellow treatment team members, and seeing a student gain confidence are what she likes most about her job.
Dorothy spends her free time hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and camping with family and friends.
