Rawhide's Group Home is a transitional home for young men who do not need as much supervision as young men in residential care and are seeking independent living skills, as well as community-based alternatives for work and school.
Objectives
Teach independent living skills and apply them in community settings
Provide community-based social, spiritual, recreational, educational and employment opportunities
Develop a transition/relapse prevention plan
Community-based education through New London High School
Upon entry and throughout the program, students will be evaluated for their level of development in the following areas:
Moral, ethical and spiritual growth
Respect for others
Responsibility
Self-control and self-discipline
Group Home Support
Thorough progress reports are completed every six weeks with ongoing case management
Monthly evaluations of supervised community employment
