The About Face Service Corps is a short-term, residential, military-style program with a targeted completion of 120 successful days. With an emphasis on involvement in community service projects, About Face achieves positive outcomes for adjudicated young men through family-centered care, physical conditioning, personalized education and character-building activities such as community service and moral training.
At-risk young men in the About Face Service Corps are in a two week rotation where they attend school at Starr Academy, Rawhide's on-campus private school, for one week and then perform community service projects for one week. Physical training is also part of their daily rountine.
Guys involved in the program learn about integrity, honor, courage, self-discipline, hard work, loyalty, and selfless service to others. |
