Standard Residential Care

ABC Family DinnerRawhide's Standard Residential program is based on the family living model - where living units are staffed 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week with live-in Houseparents and Resident Instructors. Rawhide provides a positive, structured, supportive, family environment for court-referred, at-risk youth. This traditional family model demonstrates an integrated approach to life and family living through intensive training, in-depth counseling, and 24-hour-a-day role modeling.

The family environment promotes order, stability, safety, fun, and unconditional love. It also helps guys learn the ability to function within healthy family dynamics with self control and respect for others, as well as productive study and recreational habits. Personal, relational, physical, educational, and spiritual training are integral parts of this program.

Progress is measured through individual treatment plans as well as experiential and formalized assessments and testing. Our program services allow a focus on using personal strengths for growth while at the same time addressing areas of weakness. Outcomes focus on the areas of self control, respect and responsibility.
