This program is only available for court-referred young men who transfer from one of Rawhide's other programs or are directly placed into a group home setting by the county or state. As a parent, you can not place your son directly into Rawhide's group home.
The Transitional Group Home is designed for students who are ready to be transitioned into a community environment and who do not need as much supervision as the at-risk young men in residential care.
The group home promotes independent living skills, focusing on the students' personal strengths and identifying areas that need improvement. Students attend New London High School and are often employed in the community. |
