Treatment Teams Make a Difference |
 | Team Members With an Outcome Plan | | Each student that arrives at Rawhide goes through a series of assessments to determine the proper treatment plan and targeted outcomes in a number of areas ranging from improvements in life skills, reading and math, to behavioral issues relating to ADD, ADHD, RAD, anger management and more.
Each youth will have a Rawhide treatment team assigned to them, consisting of a cross-departmental representation from social services, education and youth services to ensure consistency in the treatment process and facilitate a review of growth and goal attainment of each individual youth.
A treatment team consists of the following members: |
|
 |
 |
- State or County Case Worker: providing input and feedback on the students progress (for court referred cases only)
- Rawhide Assigned Social Worker/Therapist (Case Manager): to recommend needed assessments, develop treatment plans, and keep everyone on the team informed of any new developments from the state or county level; act as the eyes and ears for the county to keep them up to date on the students progress. They also help others focus on the treatment plan and outcome goals.
- Living Unit Staff: comprised of the Houseparents and Resident Instructors provide input on the students ability to make connections in the living unit, build relationships with peers, complete homework assignments, perform assigned chores, follow directions, etc.
- Teacher Laision: provides information on behavioral and academic performance in class which is often reflective of the progress in other parts of the program.
- Job Trainers: provide input on the students performance, attitude and ability to follow directions which also reflects the at-risk youth's progress.
- Transition Team: administer behavioral assessments, helps youth to make connections in the community; identifies what needs to be done to increase the likelihood of the students success based on the input and recommendation of other team members.

 | | At-risk youth are given a very consistent approach with all treatment team members. If any issues flare up in one area, everyone is brought up to speed. This ultimately helps each student as they are given very clear direction and treatment to help them improve in the areas that were identified in their initial assessment and continued progress to reach their targeted outcomes. |
