Your Son Can Stay at Rawhide

Room & Board Option

Students must be admitted in the Starr Academy Choice School program and meet DPI income requirements to be eligible to take advantage of the room and board service option. It is not mandatory that students stay at Rawhide to enroll in the choice program.

Rooms are single or double occupancy depending on individual circumstances. Each student has his own bed and dresser and each room has its own bathroom. Homes are furnished with a large dining room table for family meals, a fireplace, patio, family room, wash room, and large kitchen with plenty of good home-cooked food. Young men help prepare meals and clean up afterwards and are responsible for chores around the house. Computer and internet access is restricted.

Parents interested in having their son stay at Rawhide throughout the school year must voluntary submit their application to do so.
