Rawhide Boys Ranch is a nonprofit, educational, charitable organization incorporated under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is Rawhide's policy to remain debt free; no funds are paid out on interest for mortgage or any other debt. We are committed to wise stewardship of the gifts provided by our friends and appreciate the sacrifice and commitment of our current donors. An audited financial statement is available upon request.

Charity Navigator is America's premier independent charity evaluator. Their rating system is based on program and fundraising expenses, fundraising efficiency, administrative expenses, primary revenue growth, program expense growth and the working capital ratio.
Rawhide's current rating shows a four star efficiency rating in relationship to expenses, with over 80 percent of all proceeds going directly to programming costs.
2004 tax law changes of in-kind donations had an impact on revenue growth which has affected our overall rating with Charity Navigator. Rawhide expects revenue growth to improve along with our overall rating.
