| Real Estate | | Buildings and land make excellent gifts to Rawhide for which the donor may be able to take a tax deduction for the current fair market value of the property. Personal or secondary residences may be gifted as a life estate, with the legal provision for lifetime residency of the donor and spouse. In the case of a life estate, ownership interest would be transferred to Rawhide, and the donor may be entitled to a tax deduction. The donor and spouse may choose to continue to reside in the home as long as they live or convey the home at some time in the future.
