Enter Rawhide's Good, Bad, & Ugly Contest for your chance to win!

All cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans donated to Rawhide Boys Ranch between September 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 will be eligible to win a prize (donation date is the date the title is signed). By donating a vehicle to Rawhide Boys Ranch within the contest time frame you will be automatically entered in the Good, Bad and Ugly contest.

Photos of the donated vehicle will be taken by the Rawhide staff. A panel of judges will review the photos and choose a winning car for each category. Winners will be notified and announced by January 30, 2009.

Category Definitions

Good – A car that is in generally good running condition with little to no rust or visible flaws.

Bad – A car that has been in a crash and/or is in bad condition. Non-running vehicles.

Ugly – Cars that are rusted or showing signs of rust, have unmatched panels, and/or are visually displeasing.

Grand Prizes

Three grand prizes are to be awarded. One winner from each category - Good, Bad, Ugly - will be chosen by Rawhide staff.

The grand prize will consist of a family weekend getaway package to a waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The package includes a two-night stay at a waterpark hotel, four waterpark passes, and a $100 gas card. All other expenses are assumed by the prize winner. Winners will also receive a commemorative trophy.

Rawhide reserves the right to choose the hotel/waterpark.

Contest Rules

  1. The Good, Bad & Ugly contest is open to anyone donating a car, truck, SUV, or van to Rawhide Boys Ranch between September 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.
  2. Employees of Rawhide Boys Ranch or its contest sponsor and their immediate family members are excluded from this contest.
  3. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.
  4. Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.
  5. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium including, but not limited to, newspapers, television, and distribution over the internet.
  6. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Rawhide may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using the prize.
  7. Rawhide retains the right to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize.
  8. Only one prize per household.
  9. Winners will be notified via telephone and posted on this page shortly after the contest ends.
  10. The category that the donated vehicle fits into will be the sole discretion of the Rawhide staff.
  11. Contest judges will consist of Rawhide students and staff. Winners will be chosen solely by the panel of Rawhide judges and all decisions will remain final.
  12. Vehicles that have been intentionally ruined or defaced will be disqualified. This includes, but is not limited to, spray painting, smashing windows or lights, or intentionally denting the vehicle for the purpose of this contest.
  13. Boats, RVs, campers, snowmobiles, ATV and other recreational vehicle donations are not eligible for this promotion. However, you may still donate them.
