 | Getting Your Donation Ready | | Whether we pick up your donation or your bring it one of our convenient Donor Service Centers located throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, you will need to do some things to get your donation ready to go.
With literally thousands of donations under our belt, we know what you need to do to in order to have a pleasant donation experience. Please take the time to read the important donation preparation instructions below. |

 | Donation Preparation Instructions | |
- Locate your clear title or registration (for untitled items); supporting documents, including the original lien release (photocopies and faxes are not acceptable); and any appropriate verifying documentation.
- Sign the title. All owners listed on the title or registration must sign off as sellers. If two owners are listed on the title, both must sign the title.
- Make sure your donation is equipped with a complete set of inflated, rolling tires.
- Remove license plates and all personal items (garage door opener, cell phone, etc.) from the vehicle or boat. All items left in the vehicle will be considered part of the donation and become the property of Rawhide.
- Please remove trash, debris, tires, hazardous material or unwanted items, this will help reduce the expense of handling your donation and increase income to benefit the boys.
- Bring your donation, keys, signed title, lien release and other supporting documents with you to the Donor Service Center.
- After contacting Rawhide or completing the on-line donation questionnaire you will need to fill out and sign your donation paperwork with a Rawhide representative at the Donor Service Center. Allow 15 to 20 minutes to make your donation and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Once the paperwork is completed at the Donor Service Center, retain the canary copy of the Donation Information Form as a temporary receipt.
- If your vehicle is not running or unsafe to drive please call us at 1-800-729-4433 to arrange for free pick-up.

 | Donor Service Center Volunteers | | In an effort to simplify the donation process, Rawhide has teamed up with dealer associations and businesses from Wisconsin and Illinois.
Dealerships and businesses provide convenient Donor Service Center locations where you can bring your donated vehicle or boat. If you vehicle or is not running or unsafe to drive please call 1-800-729-4433 to arrange for free pick-up.
Please be considerate of the Donor Service Centers; they volunteer their valuable staff time and facilities to help Rawhide accept donations.
You must complete the on-line donation questionnaire to determine if your donation will provide a benefit to Rawhide and then you will be given a list of Donor Service Centers in your area. |

Important Points When Completing Your Vehicle Title |
- Complete the “Seller” section
- Mark mileage “In Excess” ONLY if you have turned over your odometer, otherwise DO NOT MARK.
- Mark mileage “NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE” if you replaced the odometer, or if the odometer is broken or not actual.
- Do not mark “Brand Disclosure” unless you know for sure your vehicle was once a salvage vehicle (does not apply to Rebuilt Salvage) , was flood damaged, or was a previous Police or Taxicab vehicle.
- Two signatures are needed if two people are listed with word “AND”, e.g. Joe P. Donor and Jane P. Donor would both need a signature, otherwise only one signature is needed.
