 | "When I came to Rawhide, right when I stepped foot on the grounds I knew this program was set up very well; It's a place where I felt comfortable and I knew others would feel comfortable as well. There's a lot of really good structure set up here and one of the things I've learned from my past - especially as a Christian - is that if you don't have the changing power of Christ it's very difficult to really make a difference in someone's life. That's here, and not only shown in the buildings and grounds but shown in the people as well. I've never worked in a place where I've seen so many genuinely wonderful people."

"As I left college over a year ago I knew God was calling me to work with at-risk youth. I didn't know however, where this was going to take me. During the past year of serving Rawhide guys and God, I have found myself learning just as much as the young men that I work with. I have been challenged in the process and enjoy my time with them".

 | "I started working with the boys at Rawhide in December of 1979 as a Resident Instructor (RI) at night and an on-the-job trainer during the day. Back then, John Gillespie said most RIs only stay a year due to the long hours and low pay. Over 28 years later, I still find my work satisfying, even though I may not work one-on-one with the guys any more."

 | "The main thing that has not changed over the years is the message that God can take a damaged and at-risk youth and turn their life around for His glory. My job satisfaction comes from hearing this unchanging message being shared with the guys and watching God do His work in the hearts of young men that accept the Good News of Jesus. I am happy to be a part of the vision of Rawhide Boys Ranch as we continue to share Jesus Christ with the young men that come our way."

 | "I most enjoy seeing God actually live in my heart and fill me with His love. All the good things that have happened at Rawhide throughout the years have been the harvest of God's work in the guys' hearts, and I come here following in the wake of other people's faith in the great things that God can do, not what we can do. It's amazing that God uses broken-down, forgetful people in His work. God has shown His mercy to me day after day."
