Michels Corporation Donates Travel Trailers to Rawhide |
April 1, 2007 | Rawhide Boys Ranch recently received a donation of six travel trailers from the Michels Corporation in Brownsville, Wisconsin. The trailers are less then two years old and were used to house Michels Corporation employees who assisted with disaster relief after Hurricane Katrina. Upon completion of the projects in Mississippi, the travel trailers were no longer needed.
John Solberg, Executive Director at Rawhide stated, “Donations such as these provide a critical funding source so we are able to provide quality services to help troubled young men.”
Rawhide not only takes in car, truck, boat, RV, camper and motorcycle donations, it is able to provide financial benefits from donations such as industrial or heavy duty equipment, unused commercial supplies or overruns. Michels Corporation is a family-owned, diversified utility contractor. What began as a pipeline construction company has flourished into an international engineering and construction contractor that has steadfastly earned the respect and confidence of renowned private sector companies and governmental bodies the world over. In fact, Engineering New-Record magazine, a weekly construction industry publication, has rated Michels as one of the Top 100 Contractors and one of the Top 10 Utility Contractors in the United States.
Located outside of New London, Wisconsin, Rawhide Boys Ranch emphasizes a faith-based traditional family environment and currently serves at-risk and court-referred young men. Their mission is to inspire and equip at-risk teenage boys to become responsible young men through family-centered care, treatment, and education.
