1965

The Lodge is converted to a boys home; a total of 10 boys take up residence.

1972

The second boys home, The Apartment, is constructed over the Hotel which housed a cafeteria, dining room, offices, and visitor's center. A total of 20 boys now reside at Rawhide. (Today this building is the Frontier Cafe).

1982

A third boys home, The Cornerstone, is built. Today the Cornerstone serves as a group home.

1992

The Smith Home is built thanks to the gererous support of the Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

1994

The WATDA Carriage House boys home is built. Rawhide now serves a total of 40 boys.

1998

The Aylward Home is built, thanks to the generous support of the Aylward Family Foundation. Starr Academy, Rawhide's on-grounds school, moves to the newly built Keller Education Center and Krause Fieldhouse.

1999

The ABC Home is is built to replace the Hotel, which is renamed the Frontier Cafe. A Christmas Eve fire destroys the barn and stables claiming the lives of four horses.

2000-2001

The Gillespie Home, the second home to be funded by the Aylward Family Foundation, is built. The Searl Stables and Sheldon Equestrian Centers are built to replace the barns that were lost in the Christmas Eve, 1999 fire.

2004

Starr Academy expansion adds five additional classrooms, a fine arts auditorium and a student activity center.

2008

Rawhide introduces the Youth and Family Counseling Service opening it's first office in Green Bay, WI.

2009

A fire destroys the Roundup Hall maintenance shop and training center. The second Youth and Family Counseling Service office is opened in Appleton. The Adventure Camp program is reintroduced to the Rawhide continuum of care.
