Friends of Rawhide

Objective

To help fulfill Rawhide’s mission through community-based volunteer groups. The purpose is to promote Rawhide programs and expand its network with local individuals and organizations in order to serve at-risk youth and their families, and generate support to sustain and grow the program. This may take the form of public relations awareness, encouraging referrals of boys to Rawhide, vehicle donations, and fundraising.

These volunteer groups have participated and organized the following projects:
  • Making a Difference Banquets in each Friends Community
  • Volunteering at Rawhide Fish Fries
  • Hosting a booth at Octoberfest in Appleton
  • Golf outing support
  • Organizing a Car Show event at Rawhide
  • Organizing a Ride to Rawhide event statewide
  • Speaking Engagements or scheduling them for Rawhide staff at local service groups
