The One I Love - By Chris C. |
 | Love and hate will decide my fate. I hope I choose the right one before it’s too late. I love her so much and treat her so bad, And yet her love grows so fast. I wish I could go back and change the past, But this I cannot do. Please realize I would be nothing without you. With God’s help you gave me life to start anew. I want you to be proud, and let it be known. To the world shout it aloud! You need not be sad, For I am no longer bad; But I regret passing up all the good times we could have had. I love you and I know you love me too. Even though someone to call Dad I never had, You raised me just fine – I’m all yours and you’re all mine. Together we walk the line. Because you’re more beautiful than a dove. Mother, you’re the one I love.
