WATDA Carriage Home

Houseparents: Cyril and Cheryl Socha
Opened:   1995
Capacity:  16 boys plus staff
Donated by:  Wisconsin Auto and Truck Dealers (WATDA)

The Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association has been instrumental in helping Rawhide establish our vehicle donation program. This involvement prompted them to help raise funds to build the Carriage House and office building.

This home is unique in the fact that it occupies a self-contained level above the Visitors Center and Administration Offices, which occupy the main floor. Residents of the WATDA Carriage House are in the About Face Service Corp, which is a military-style program. The guys participate in a number of community service activities as well as attend school at Starr Academy.
